CBD EXPLAINED – NULEAF BRAND DIFFERENTIAL

CBD is non-toxic, and has powerful anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties that work naturally with the body’s endocannabinoid system.  Yes, science has recently discovered we are meant to have this in our bodies and there is an entire system dedicated to absorbing it.  This discovery in the last decade theorizes why CBD is believed to deliver such healing benefits.

However, not all CBD is created equal.  Here’s what I’ve found...

EVERY CBD COMPANY DOES 5 THINGS:

  1. They source hemp:

    a. Industrial Hemp or Therapeutic Hemp

  2. They extract CBD from hemp:

    a. Ethanol or CO2

  3. They use a carrier oil:

    a. Coconut Oil, Olive Oil or Hemp Seed Oil

  4. They package the CBD and carrier oil:

    a. Aluminum, Plastic, Brown/Green Glass, or Miron Glass

  5. They decide on a concentration level:

    a. A different ‘fit’ in each bottle or ONE Concentration Model

IF EVERY COMPANY DOES THE SAME 5 THINGS,

HOW IS NULEAF DIFFERENT?

1.Sourcing

NuLeaf grows and harvests only the female hemp plant which is abundant in all things we are trying to have in our own bodies therefore making it what is deemed therapeutic grade (vs industrial).  Their proprietary genetics allow them to naturally create a whole plant extract from the female that is highly concentrated in CBD and contains significant amounts of secondary cannabinoids like CBC, CBN and more (see below).  Cannabinoids work synergistically with each other and are more affective when they are found together vs when they are isolated.  This is known as the entourage affect.

2. Extraction

NuLeaf uses advanced subcritical and supercritical CO2 extraction to obtain a complete range of cannabinoids, terpenes, essential oils and other beneficial phytonutrients.  This yields a more potent blend without using any harsh chemical solvents that can then be transferred into your body.  Advanced lab testing confirms that NuLeaf is free of pesticides, herbicides, mold, fungi, heavy metals and mycotoxins.

3. Carrier Oil

NuLeaf CBD is 100% organic with zero additives, emulsifiers, preservatives and/or flavoring agents, so the product is always at its most pure and natural form.  While many brands use MCT coconut oil as a carrier, NuLeaf uses USDA certified organic cold pressed virgin hemp seed oil allowing all of their products to be 100% hemp only.  This gives your body the purest and all of the potent benefits from the hemp plant.

4. Miron Glass

NuLeaf is packaged in ultra violet glass ensuring product potency and optimal protection against harmful and degrading light.  The sun gives the earth, and we humans, life and energy.  Its rays however also dry out, damage and decay things that are meant to be preserved.  The sun’s rays include visible light, ultraviolet light, and infrared radiation. Clear, amber and green glass allow all the rays through, including the rays that will damage products being stored in that color glass.

At the other end of the spectrum, black, or very dark glass, allows none of the rays to pass through, including those that are actually good for your product. Compared to other glass, plastic or aluminum packaging violet glass has 4 times better storage quality without using preservatives.  This gives NuLeaf, stored in violet MIRON glass, the most bioavailability and longest shelf life of any product on the market.

5. Concentration Level

NuLeaf doesn’t subscribe to the notion that there needs to be a million different kinds of formulations and concentrations in order to ‘fit’ everyone.  With ONE Concentration Model, this means people can control their own dose by simply knowing what is in one drop of oil.

i. 60mg p/mL (20 drops)
ii. 30mg p/serving (10 drops)
iii. 3mg p/drop (people can treat it as ‘light’ or as ‘heavy’ as they want)
iv. The smallest bottle is the cheapest, not the weakest.  The biggest bottle is not the strongest, just the one that lasts longer!

WHAT IS CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the most recognized and widely studied non-psychoactive cannabinoids found in the cannabis (aka hemp) plant. It interacts with our ECS (endocannabinoid system), and more, to assist our bodies in maintaining homeostasis. Studies show it typically aids in pain, inflammation, anxiety reduction, improvements in sleep, as well as internal and external healing.

CBD should be taken daily like a supplement rather than in times of need. Research has found CBD has tremendous healing opportunities, not just antiinflammatory properties. Consistency of use allows for maximum healing to take place as the CBD properties build over time while the body absorbs it.

WHAT ARE CANNABINOIDS?

There are over 100 cannabinoids discovered in the cannabis plant that are being scientifically investigated for their health benefits. Cannabinoids are characterized by their ability to act on cannabinoid receptors that are found throughout the human body. Our body produces endocannabinoids and by supplementing with phytocannabinoids such as CBD, CBC, CBG, and CBN we can help the body achieve peak performance.

WHAT IS THE ENDOCANNABINOID SYSTEM?

Cannabinoid receptors located throughout the body are part of the endocannabinoid system (ECS), which is involved in a variety of physiological processes including appetite, mood, metabolism, hormone regulation, immune response, and memory.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CBD FROM HEMP AND CBD FROM MARIJUANA?

Both hemp and marijuana are from the cannabis genus. The characteristic of having less than 0.3% Delta 9 THC is the single difference relied on to distinguish hemp from marijuana. CBD and all the other cannabinoids taken from hemp are the exact same compound as those found in marijuana.

WHAT DOES FULL SPECTRUM MEAN?

Full spectrum extracts, often called whole plant extracts, maintain the full profile of the cannabis plant. They contain a variety of cannabinoids, specifically CBD and THC, as well as CBC, CBG, and CBN, terpenes, and other phytonutrients.

WHAT IS CANNABICHROMENE (CBC)?

Research shows that CBC binds to the ECS as well as other receptor sites including TRPV1 and TRPA1, both of which are linked to pain perception. When CBC activates these receptors, increased levels of the body’s natural endocannabinoids like anandamide are released.

Studies show CBC may support the body’s natural regeneration of nerve cells known as neural stem progenitor cells (NSPCs). NSPCs are essential for the repair of damaged nerve cells and healthy brain function. CBC may also help balance skin inflammation such as that seen with acne.

WHAT IS CANNABIGEROL (CBG)

Cannabigerol (CBG) is known as the “mother cannabinoid” because it is the precursor to the major cannabinoids found in the hemp plant. It has also been shown to reduce inflammation and support gastro-intestinal (GI) system health.

CBG works by binding to endocannabinoid receptors where it is thought to strengthen the function of anandamide; a neurotransmitter that plays a key role in enhancing pleasure and motivation, regulating sleep, and reducing pain.

CBG is also non-intoxicating and has been demonstrated to be a potent antioxidant.

WHAT IS CANNABINOL (CBN)

Cannabinol (CBN) can be used effectively as a sleep aid or sedative. This cannabinoid has also been shown to help regulate the immune system and works to relieve pain and inflammation.

WHAT IS DELTA 8 TETRAHYDROCANNABINOL (DELTA 8 THC)

Delta 8 THC is a cannabinoid naturally found in the hemp plant. Delta 8 THC binds to CB1 receptors in the central nervous system. It has potent pain relieving and anti-anxiety properties, and may offer a mild psychoactive experience. NuLeaf’s Delta 8 THC is highly concentrated and contains a full spectrum of synergistic cannabinoids and terpenes to elevate the effects.

WHAT IS DELTA 9 TETRAHYDROCANNABINOL (DELTA 9 THC)

The cannabis plant contains more than one hundred known cannabinoids that are currently being scientifically investigated for numerous health benefits. Delta 9 THC is the most common psychoactive cannabinoid found in the hemp plant and may help to support sleep quality, alleviate physical discomfort, and enhance overall mood.

The Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 outlines that hemp derived cannabinoid products are legal in all 50 US States as long as they contain less than 0.3% Delta 9 THC on a dry weight basis.

So, Delta 9 is legal in all 50 states however will show up on a drug test.
