List of Confirmed Autoimmune, Suspected Autoimmune, and Autoimmune-Related Conditions

The following list represents illnesses that can be largely influenced by diet and lifestyle modifications.

Of the tens of millions of people diagnosed with one of these conditions in the US alone, very few are told it is autoimmune in nature or origin. Possibly because doctors don’t know, or more likely because doctors are unaware that anything can be done about it beyond prescriptions of steroids, pain pills or other medication. Quite a bit more complicated – but similar to cardiovascular disease, obesity and type 2 diabetes – autoimmune originated disorders can mostly be prevented, halted and sometimes put fully into remission simply through nutrition and lifestyle practices.

Knowing this can be profoundly beneficial in working towards healing your body and not just mitigating symptoms. We want to put out the fire, not take the batteries out of the smoke detector.
